Bordeaux Dag 1/ Bordeaux Day 1
Have the past week been on a trip together with Monique and Kirsten, two totally wonderful girls from the class. We started our trip with visiting Bordeaux, then we flew to Lisbon in Portugal and thereafter to Porto. Thought I would write about the first day in Bordeaux and what we visited and did in this post.
Började dagen tidigt, redan klockan kvart före fyra var det väckning. Monique (som hade sovit över hos mig) och jag släpade oss och våra väskor till Kirsten där Kirstens värdpappa var snäll och skjutsade oss till tågstationen så vi inte behövde gå hela vägen. Skulle vart en bit att gå annars. Vid tågstationen hittade vi snabbt rätt tåg. Lite före fem gick vårat tåg och vår resa började.
Started the day early, already at a quarter to four we had our alarm set to wake up. Monique (who had slept over at my place) and me dragged ourselves and our bags (haha) to Kirsten where Kirstens hostfather was nice and drove us to the trainstation. Would`ve been a little bit of walking otherwise. At the trainstation we quickly found the right train. At a little bit to five the train left the station and our journey began.

När vi kom till Bordeaux var det fortfarande rätt tidigt på morgonen så vi kunde inte checka in på vårat hotell än. Vårat hotell var ett Ibis hotell och var beläget ganska nära Bordeaux tågstation. Vi började gå in mot centrum av Bordeaux (eller vi försökte iaf hitta vägen in till Bordeauxs centrum hehe, gick väl sådär)
When we arrived to Bordeaux it was still quite early in the morning so we couldn`t check in at our hotel. Our hotel was an Ibis hotel and it was situated quite close to Bordeaux trainstation. We started to walk towards the center of Bordeaux (or we tried to find the right way into the center of Bordeaux hehe)
På vår väg in till centrum gick vi förbi Bordeauxs marknad. Vi gick runt där en stund och tittade. Gillar verkligen att de här i Frankrike har marknad varje helg.
On our way to the center we passed the market place of Bordeaux. We strolled around for a while looking at all the different stuff. I really like that they have markets here in France every weekend.
På väg in till Bordeauxs stadskärna fick vi också se vilka fina byggnader det finns i staden och vilken underbar arkitektur staden har.

Eftersom vi inte direkt hade hunnit med att äta någon frukost eftersom vi steg upp så pass tidigt sökte vi efter ett ställe där vi kunde dricka eller äta nåt för att få lite mer energi. Hittade ett supernice och mysigt ställe. Beställde en varm choklad där, yum yum.
Because we hadn`t had time to eat any breakfast because of getting up so early we were looking for a place where we could eat or drink something to get some more energy. Found a supernice and cosy place. Ordered hot chocolate there, yum yum.
Chillade en stund på caféet innan vi fortsatte vidare. Chilled at the café for a while before continuing.
Efter att vi hade vandrat runt i Bordeaux i nåra timmar gick vi till hotellet för att checka in. Ibis hotellet var väl helt okej, inget speciellt med det. Inte speciellt charmigt eller hemtrevligt men det dög för att spendera några nätter.
After we had been walking around in Bordeaux for a couple of hours we could finally return for checking in at the hotel. The Ibis Hotel was okay, nothing special with it really. Neither really charming or cosy but it was okey for staying at a couple of nights (two nights in our case).

Efter att vi hade installerat oss på hotellrummet begav vi oss ut i Bordeaux igen för att hitta någonstans där vi kunde äta eftersom vi var vrålhungriga Hade lite problem med att välja var vi skulle äta men tillslut kom vi fram till en burrito/taco restaurang.
After we had installed ourselves at the hotelroom we went out in Bordeaux again to find a place where we could eat because we were starving. We had little trouble at first to decide at which place we should eat but after a while we decided to try the food at an burrito/taco place.

Nu är dethär inlägget redan rätt långt så jag fortsätter med dag ett en annan dag och i ett nytt inlägg.
Now this post is already really long so I´ll continue another day with an another post about day one.
